Sharing links and access control
Control who can view your models using share links and access settings.
Share link types
lepoly gives you flexible options for sharing models:
Public link
Anyone with the link can view the model — no login required. Great for sharing with clients or embedding publicly.
Private link
Only signed-in members of the space can view the model.
Password-protected link
Anyone with the link must enter a password to view the model.
Creating a share link
- Open the model.
- Click Share.
- Select your preferred link type.
- Copy and share the link.
Setting an expiry date
You can set a link to expire on a specific date. After that date, the link stops working. Useful for temporary access (e.g. client reviews).
Revoking access
To revoke a share link:
- Open the model's Share settings.
- Click Revoke link.
This immediately invalidates the link for all recipients.
Download permissions
You can also control whether people viewing via a share link can download the original file. This setting is in Share → Advanced settings.
