Understanding spaces and collections
Learn how lepoly organizes your 3D models using spaces and collections.
Spaces
A space in lepoly is a container for your 3D models. There are two types:
- Personal space — private to you by default. Great for drafts and personal projects.
- Shared space — collaborative. You can invite team members and control their access level.
Collections
Within a space, you can organize models into collections — think of them like folders. Collections help you group related models (e.g. by project, client, or version).
How they work together
- Models live inside spaces.
- Collections are sub-groups within a space.
- You can move models between collections freely.
Permissions
Each shared space has its own member list. You can assign roles:
- Viewer — can view and comment
- Editor — can upload and edit models
- Admin — full control including member management
